Removing facial features

In this video I will show you how to remove your eyes, nose and mouth easily from a photo just using the patch and healing tools. When creating horror pictures its often useful to remove whole parts of a face, and start again, as such I found using this method where we can remove any part of a face very easily.

Stripy Text…!

More text antics with Photoshop.

Step 1.


Start by creating a new Photoshop Document, I used 1024×768 at 72 ppi, but as always its really up to you. I then set my background Colour to Red #c0292f, you can either just fill the Background Layer with red or create a new Layer and colour that red. Read the rest of this entry »

Repeating patterns with actions

This tutorial will let you create a cool repeating pattern using actions.


Step 1.

Make a new Photoshop document – i’m using a canvas that is 1024×768, as always you can set your own size if you want. Make the background black by pressing D on your keyboard followed by ALT and Backspace (or go to Edit>Fill>Black). Finally make a new Layer above the background Layer called Pattern1. Comic book text style

I’m a huge fan of comics – not that i’ve been able to buy any in the last 5 years or so :( but I do love rereading my old ones. This had me thinking about the old style Pow’s and Thwaks they used to put in fight scenes. I liked them, so I thought i’d show you a way of making them in Photoshop.
